Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support clients with mobility and daily routines to promote independence
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary requirements
• Help with light household chores including cleaning and laundry
• Administer medication as prescribed, following care plans accurately
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
• Document care activities accurately and report any concerns to supervisors
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, maintaining safe driving practices

Skills

• Experience with children or in childcare is advantageous, demonstrating nurturing qualities
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely for client outings or errands
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
